Access

Hitachi Seaside Park can be accessed from Tokyo by public transport or private car.

If you are using public transportation

1. From Tokyo Station to Katsuta Station
   Using the JR Joban Line Limited Express "Hitachi" or "Tokiwa," the journey takes approximately 85 minutes.
2. From Katsuta Station to Hitachi Seaside Park
   From platform 2 at the east exit of Katsuta Station, take the Ibaraki Kotsu bus bound for "Kaihin Park" (seaside park) for approximately 15 minutes.
   Alternatively, it's about a 15-minute taxi ride.

If you are using a private car

Take the Joban Expressway, then the Kita-Kanto Expressway, and finally the Hitachinaka Toll Road.

• From Haneda Airport
  1. Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station.
  2. Take the JR Joban Line Limited Express to Katsuta Station.
  3. Take a bus for about 15 minutes.
• From Narita Airport
  1. Take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station.
  2. Take the JR Joban Line Limited Express to Katsuta Station.
  3. Take a bus for approximately 15 minutes.
