Access

Hitachi Seaside Park can be reached from Tokyo by public transportation or automobile.

Visiting the Park Using Public Transportation

1. From Tokyo Station to Katsuta Station
   Take the JR Joban Line Limited Express "Hitachi" or "Tokiwa" (approx. 85 minutes).
2. From Katsuta Station to Hitachi Seaside Park
   Take the Ibaraki Kotsu Bus bound for "Kaihin Park." The bus departs from Bus Stop No. 2 on the East Exit side of Katsuta Station (approx. 15 minutes).
   You can also take a taxi (approx. 15 minutes).

Visiting the Park by Car

Take the Joban Expressway to the Kita-Kanto Expressway and then the Hitachinaka Toll Road.
The park is approximately 1 kilometer from the Hitachi Seaside Park Interchange.

Notes (Visiting the Park from an Airport)

• From Haneda Airport
  1. Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station.
  2. Take the JR Joban Line Limited Express to Katsuta Station.
  3. Take a bus to the park (approx. 15 minutes).
• From Narita Airport
  1. Take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station.
  2. Take the JR Joban Line Limited Express to Katsuta Station.
  3. Take a bus to the park (approx. 15 minutes).
